To Our Patients,
We hope that you have been well through this crazy COVID time!
We have missed you terribly and we are happy to announce that our office will reopen on Wednesday, May 27th!!
We are pleased to be able to resume all optometric care to our patients again. And, as you’ve noticed at most businesses and offices, new COVID 19 protocol is being enacted to keep everyone safe and healthy. We have paid close attention to the CDC and American Optometric Association guidelines and here is what we’re doing:
- Our door will be locked until the time of your appointment to control the number of people in the office. We’ll be looking out for you and will open the door when you arrive.
- All of our doctors and staff will be wearing a mask while in the office. We will ask our patients to do the same. If you forget your mask, we’ll be happy to provide one.
- We are washing our hands and taking our temperatures as we come in the office. We will ask you to do the same. Patients with a fever will be rescheduled for another day.
- In order to control the number of people in our office and to maintain social distancing, we are making appointments for all services. So if you are coming in to pick up your glasses, your contact lenses, or even just coming by for an adjustment for your frames, please call us for an appointment time.
- Because we are limited in the number of people we can have at the office, we ask that you refrain from bringing extra people to your appointment, unless it is absolutely necessary. Drivers and caretakers of patients, or parents of patients who are minors are absolutely welcome to accompany their patients.
- We are sanitizing EVERYTHING!! And, we are spacing our appointments out to allow our staff time for all the cleaning protocol.
- If you have had a fever or a cough within the last two weeks, or have been feeling unwell, please call us to reschedule your appointment.
- If you are still sheltering, and need help with getting more contact lenses or reordering glasses, please let us know and we’ll be happy to help. We are extending prescriptions if it is difficult for you to come in at this time.
Your health and the health of our staff is our foremost concern. We will do our best to keep everyone safe and do our job to take care of you, your eyes and your vision.
We’re looking forward to seeing you soon!
